This is the first post for 52WriteTime. Our goal is to provide engaging topics that will encourage feedback.
Topics will vary from post to post and take the format of a journal of sorts.
My background is in business, investing, and finance with hobbies being sports and automobiles, to name a few.
Traveling across this amazing country over the years, (by plane, and by car), has been an incredible experience. My trips have carried me from the farthest point east in Newfoundland (Cape Spear) to the farthest point west on Vancouver Island (Tofino). Until I became a Global VP of Sales for ARC, I was a District Manager and Channel Manager of Canada for Motorola.
As a writer, I have written hundreds of blogs for other companies as well as for my own businesses. I have been responsible for creating website content for First Nations, technology companies, real-estate firms, retail, education, automotive, residential, commercial real estate and many others.
Writing is my calm space, enjoying various topics, mostly nonfiction. I’ve written about events in my life from being in the air on the day of 9/11, living after a stroke, to owning numerous high-quality automobiles and boats, and also being happily married for over 44 years. We’ve lived in several cities in Ontario and BC and love them all for what they taught us about life in Canada.
My goals with 52WriteTime are to write provocative stories and provide an outlet to voice opinions and comments on everyday life.
Please enjoy and feel free to write back to me.
